"HONGZ" stands for HO scale, N scale, G scale, and Z scale.

Post your non-O scale stuff here!

Are LGB sets worth collecting, or are they just too numerous in production, or is it considered the same old stainz loco with two coaches just painted in a fancy decor?

I'm talking about these commemorative sets:

I have quite a few LGB collector sets, as well as most of the Astor locomotives made for LGB. Most hold their value like anything else it all depends on who wants to pay what when and how but the truth is I collect for the love of the trains if you’re going to collect with the hope of making a big killing with turning a massive profit were in the wrong Hobby.

No. Coming from O scale that never was my intention..BUT as was stated above, there are a LOT of used product out there and I'm hearing it takes a LONG TIME to resell LGB European items. With that idea in mind, I am trying to stear away from the everyday "plain jane" sets but collect what hits my fancy and looking for unique and colorful sets..which seems LGB has on their limited rolling stock. I don't want to be stuck with too many "unique sets", hence my initial question.
