Atlas O bathtub gonds are on the water now, and expected at Atlas in 6 weeks We should have them end of december, beginning of January. These are the bathtub gonds (u see a lot of them today) that were originally in powerplant coal service, but now being used for general gondola type service...scrap metal, RR ties, contaminated dirt, trash. I've gone back to Atlas 3 or 4 times for more of these, and I think we are still pretty close to sold out. Ive told Atlas that I'll take any more extras that show up. Sometimes they do, sometimes they dont.
Im about a dozen orders behind right now, so got a long day ahead of me here. U wouldnt think so, but it takes an average of an hour an order to get them done..between pulling the stock (its not all conveniently located i one place), checking things to make sure they are not obviously broken (yes, we get stuff NIB from manufacturers, broken) , making an appropriate size box for the shipment, packing, making shipping labels, and the rest of the paperwork, and refunds when there is shipping overage.
