Glad to see all those new 5-car intermodal articulated sets!! Finally!! It's been a long time waiting!! I'm in for about 5 sets in TTX!!
The production of several items for 3rd Quarter and 4th Quarter 2012 are still not showing as being on the Container in the shipping schedule. So when will everything be produced?
Andrew
I like the paint schemes for Rio Grande and Great Northern, but I already have the K-Line versions of them, so I am undecided on their versions.
I found a TrainMaster version of the Santa Fe extended-vision caboose this year, but I might get the Master series version.

I think most (if not all) of these cabooses have been done previously by Atlas. Maybe not the Maine Central. Good that they re-run things, though, because most of their items are very hard to find in the secondary market due to low production numbers.
Those N&W cabs are nice and I need a bunch....can't wait.
Very nice!

Jeff, Where did you hear the intermodal announcement? I cant find it anywhere
I think he is referring to the July announcements in the catalog....
Actually I was referring to the Atlas O "Pipe dream"... there never has been any announcement on these- just high hopes and a huge let down. Oh well...
Well heck what was I looking at then...?...Oh time to find me ole' dunce cap...
Just to be clear on this "latest announcement stuff"...
What was announced in November 2012 appears to be the extended visions caboose products outlined in the OP's topmost post. The most recent "intermodal announcement" was back in August 2012.
As for delivery timeframes... well, I think that's where the real "pipe dream" tends to be, and I've already been told by the LHS where I placed an order for the CSX Gundersons that 1Q2013 will be a big pipe dream for the intermodals, which will more than likely drift out 3-6 months (at least). Seems typical these days.

Seems like a long time ago when Atlas shipped frequently. It's been a long dry spell. There are lots of F's to run and getting one every couple of years, not very sure they will get made.
