Atlas SP MP15ac

I know this 2-rail forum shouldn't be used for 'want to buy' postings but I've been looking for an Atlas SP MP15ac yard switcher for quite some time now with no success. Actually almost all 2-rail WTB requests get lost in the blizzard of 3-rail listings almost immediately. I spoke to an Atlas Models Inc. representative recently and he said Atlas will be re-releasing the SP MP15ac switcher in O scale 2-rail along with several others sometime next year. Frankly I can't wait that long so I'm hoping someone might know of one for sale. The Atlas rep also acknowledged he was aware of the shortage but otherwise he wasn't of much help to me.

Other than the SP MP15 switcher, the Atlas rep. was not specific as to which MP15ac / MP15dc or railroad names will be imported by Atlas next year. Likewise nothing was said about NW or SW switchers so I'm assuming Atlas might be a bit up in the air as to which or what they're planning to produce. I've been told current manufacturing in China is a bit of a 'crap-shoot' these days so we'll have to wait and see what eventually gets produced.

If they are rerunning them, it would be a great time to get the cab, numberboards and lights correct for the road # and era specific.
