Your video brought back good memories of the 70's to me, as far as Fords go. During the decade, I drove/owned five different Ford products...from full sized 2 door, 4 door hard- tops, Country Squire wagon and two Torino sized, sedan and wagon.
By todays standards, they were huge cars!
Also it was great to see the train auto carriers being loaded. Big business!
Cool!!! It's gotta be 1973 as there are plenty of 1973 Mustangs and Cougars on the lot. I'd move my layout to the 70's if we had a bunch of 70's era cars in 1/48 scale.
A bit obtuse to the subject. I have a 1965 Ford Galaxie, (original owner) with the square front and rear fenders. I talked to a guy that worked at Ford then, and he drove the cars to the lot and parked them about 2 " apart waiting to be loaded on the trains. He said he "loved" the 65's with the square fenders, so when he crawled out the window after parking that close, it was easy to walk on top of the fenders to get out.!!! Not sure how much I wanted to know that?
