This a model most likely not seen on most layouts.
It’s a Lada. Soviet Union era.
I just picked up this Corgi 1:50 Semi from a forum member. One of my favorite trucking names...Carolina, I couldn't pass it up!

Andy, Many years ago, the Ohio River flooded high enough to reach the truck dock at Castelline Produce's warehouse(Cincinnati) which had its back to the river. All the trailers had been moved except a Carolina reefer which was at the dock with its tires underwater. The Cincinnati Carolina terminal manager got in a boat and took a zillion photos of the trailer. The following year, one of those photos was in the Carolina calendar with the caption "Carolina delivers come **** or high water." John

John--That's an awesome story! I searched for the picture online, but couldn't find it. Too bad! Thanks again for the semi...I love it!
John -use of blocks of wood is really innovative. Looks good!

Okay, so the scale is 1:34, not in the range listed but I couldn't leave it behind. Thanks to JADA Toys Just Trucks line I am now the proud owner of this 2013 Ram.
Not an exact match for this 2019 that sits in the driveway,
but with a little paint on the bumpers and the crosshairs in the grill plus some hood decals it'll suffice. I'll fashion a tonneau cover for the bed. I'd like to find some mirrors if anyone has any ideas.

Ready for service
Block of wood trailer with Athearn Ford C tractor
Another paint scheme
Wood dowel rods for tires with counter sunk indentations for wheels. At a dock or with a vehicle next to the truck or at a distance, no one will notice they are wood.
Signs from catalogs or HO railroad decals work on O scale trailers.
Athearn BRANCH Ford C tractor with wood trailer. Half rounds glued to wood for the horizontal ribs.
Tootsie Toy tractor and wood trailer with signs cut from advertising.
K-MART trailer atop K-Line flat car.

Even though the roads in Warrenville already have heavy traffic, I could not resist adding this Buick (1954??) Roadmaster. 1:48
Gonna put a person or so inside then onto the layout. A couple bikini girls in the back seat?

Mmm, more like a 1950:
The key IMHO is the chrome line down the side. Later models had a swoopy curve down in the middle. Can't see enough detail in your model to be absolutely sure, though . . .

Close guess Steve, I did the obvious thing and unscrewed it from the box - the bottom says 1949.
Here is another pic:

Yeah -- the change in chrome is minimal, but I think the box is right, since the side holes are in the right place, and the front matches:
In any event, nice piece!

Unless you can find a similar size truck with mirrors that you can scrounge off of, you might try Shapeways or this Forum to see about requesting a 3D printing/build of the mirrors.
Thanks, I thought maybe Lee or some of the other truck modelers may know of a source, kinda like Don Mills for semis.

Joe that’s about it is Don Mills

Coach, I thought about Don Mills also, but figured they'd be too big.
Not sure these would work or could be modified to work, but I noticed he does have these in 1/48-1/50th scale.
