I am no expert on what was ever made and in what RR so I am just asking. Did anyone make E 8 in B&O 3 rail and if so does anyone know of any for sale? Thanks for any help! Choo Choo Kenny

Saw a set on ebay recently.......did you check there?
AMCDave Thanks for the reply. I did not know if they were ever made so I did not want to be looking for something that did not exist. Thanks for the heads up on the ebay link I will have to take A look. Take care Choo Choo Kenny
k-line had a real nice set back around 2002.
I almost got them along with a full set of 21' long passenger cars would have made a real nice train.
found this web site but sold out:
1992-S/L | EMD E-8 AA / DIESEL | B&O / BALTIMORE AND OHIO | 1440-1441 | 1991 | $495.00 | BLUE/GRAY

Hi Kenny,
MTH made B&O E-8's in both PS 1.0 & PS 2.0. The PS 2.0 was made in two different paint schemes. This is a Youtube video my PS 2.0 set which has the nicer detailed pilot, cool looking 5 chime horns, speed control, and the available additional B unit.

That's the K-Line Legacy catalog indicating K-Line's own stock status, which is of course sold out! It's not a guide to what's available in the secondary market although you may have to search hard for the engines/cars you want. Mostly things like this come up on the unmentionable auction site, meets or the remaining specialist K-Line dealers like Eastern Depot and Western Depot (they are related). Good hunting if you really want them - I've been there for Rock Island and SP and eventually found what I was after.
The Baltimore and Ohio had numerous E6, E7, E8 and E9's. Check out their diesel roster.
As noted, MTH made a few versions of them but now they are tough to find.
Thank you for all the info. everyone I guess I have some searching to do. Choo Choo Kenny
