When the non-profit gave the BB to the UP, was one of the terms of a contract a special passenger run with 4014?

Uuh, I believe they have just got it running, and if you watch "Facebook Screening", they don't even have it under a load yet. Give them sometime, and it may visit a city near you....!

Since the Rail Giants museum is in Pomona, what does Sacramento have to do with anything? It is my understanding that a promise was made to take the engine to Pomona at some later date.
The announced intent at the start of all of this Big Boy venture this was to have the engine ready for the 150th Anniversary of the Golden Spike.
What comes next remains to be seen.
