That's just too good! Perfect for The Stadium!
Arnold, being from the Big Apple, didn't you really mean "Beea Heea"? :-)

What a coincidence, Saturday went to a train show in Mebane NC and picked up two cars that have been on my want list for quite a while. The Papst car as it was once brewed in my hometown, Newark. The Stroh's reefer after being introduced to it during business trips to the Midwest in the 70's. $15 and $20 respectfully. Wonder if the coupon boxcar for $5.00 is still valid?
Here is a recent MPC era Carling’s Black Label acquisition.
WRW,
My late father-in-law drank that brand of swill 😁 in 16 oz. containers. Not me.
Arnold I saw this photo of outside Wrigley Field. Chicago may have had your idea a while ago. I hope the link works.

When I was a very little me, we would visit my grandparents in the Harrisburg, PA area. They didn’t drink beer but my Dad did. They always had Carling’s Black Label in the porch dining / sun room fridge for my Dad. They also had lots of Coca-Cola products too out there too. I still remember asking him about why he drank that kind of beer at their (and later her) home. He responded as he would with one of his Dad wisdoms. It’s free beer or something along those lines he replied. And added he was being polite. I remember and embrace that to this day, and thus I acquired this car not because I liked this beer but because of my Dad. It’s a good memory. Thanks for prompting me to share this. I’ll never turn down a free beer. Best, W
@WRW, a bit off topic, but I remember that beer from my childhood, not from drinking it but the catchy lyrics/song for their commercials, 'Mabel - Black Label'. As I got into beer drinking age, it was nowhere to be found (Pittsburgh area). I understood that the brewery put out several bad batches, and lost their core following. Whether that's true or not, I don't know.
@CSXJOE, Strohs was the first beer I drank (legally). There was a pizza joint that sold it cheap by the pitcher. My wife (girlfriend at the time) and I would got there with another couple for a cheap night out. The pizza was way better than the beer!
Stroh's changed taste after being sold and the Detroit brewery closed. No longer fire brewed.
America's Oldest Brewery needs some representation!
And a sentimental favorite of mine.... "Who is the Ale Man?" (Link is to a radio ad, for the Ale Men on the forum )

Beer and a beer company company tank car. Atlas steam era and k line aluminum tank car.3 -B beer and anheuser busch corn syrup. Ignore the ginger ale car, just wanted some attention I guess.
I have a couple of beer cars in this consist behind my MTH Premier "A". All MTH 36 Foot cars. I have a few of the MPC Era Billboard Reefer Beer Cars also and more MTH cars still packed.
I pretty much stick to the MTH 36 foot Woodsided Beer Reefers. Even keeping up with all of the special runs is daunting these days.
A few of the latest releases...
Another one has landed!
Ortlieb's 36 foot Woodsided Beer Reefer. Special run from Public Delivery Track.
One of the recent run from Atlas…
Next up, two from the nice folks at LOTS…
Another gem from the good folks at the NJ Hi-Railers…
And finally, a fictional Lionel entry!!!
I don't have any beer reefers ............ yet! But I like the Carling's Black Label one. That's what I drank in college. $1.25 for a 6-pack. Helped me get through many a cold night in the Soo! The father of one of my roommates was a delivery driver for Stroh's. He had a lot of promo items like posters, cardboard cutouts, etc. that decorated our apartment. Good times!

That Carling's Black Label car brings back memories of my grandfather; it was his beer of choice.
Here's a classic from Modern Era Marx:
I barfed up a beer taste at a few months old, from teetotaler heritage, but find the history of MANY vanished breweries and their railcars ( many had none) interesting, and long heard their radio ads for Kentucky beers, and others, best remembering Fehr's, Oertles '92, and Stroh's. I researched beer cars, and could not find cars existed for several (some long defunct) Louisville breweries, including Oertle's '92. I mostly try to hold to Atlas cars from four states, but do stray.
Schmidt's of Philadelphia from the current special run of Philadelphia beer cars from Public Delivery Track. The actual car looks even better "in person" than the photos.

Love this one.
I picked out a couple that particularly appealed to me, but truth is, all of the above beer cars are gorgeous.
My favorites are the beer cars for beers that might have been served at stadiums for major league ball parks in the 1950s. Arnold

The NJ Hi-Railers did a very nice version of a Ruppert reefer a couple of years ago…
