David, we have dedicated trucks from UPS everyday to ship out your orders!

Looking at the volume of smoke that beast puts out I'm going to have to order some more smoke fluid!

And I only had the Legacy remote dialed up to "MEDIUM" smoke output.

Looking forward to getting mine, I ordered 4018.

and appears all is good.
a question video shows both stacks emitting smoke at same time I thought it was supposed to be alternating smoke with each chuff?
Just curious or is it a video glitch?

There was much controversy about that feature, so Lionel made user selectable. Hot Water and other said that all the stacks would not alternate,  while Lionel said that is how it works. I have never seen a photo of the inside of a Big Boy so no idea how it is plumbed.

I guess once the 4014 is running again we will know who was right

Great video! Watching the boiler swing on the curve tells me I will only be able to display mine.

No way this beast will be able to operate on my layout. 

 

I guess I need to move into a bigger house.

No different than the 3985 Challenger, and it NEVER "alternated" the exhaust smoke from the twin stacks, no matter whether she was a coal burner nor after the conversion to oil burning.

I don't have one on order, but am very excited for those that do.  What a beauty.  That depleting coal load does nothing for me, but others might enjoy the added play value.

Brad that is our store layout. It has 3 sets running as well as Superstreets. The outside loop is 072

I just for my tracking number for UPS, so Nassau has done their part. All I can say is UPS you really disappoint me, 1/2/15 estimated delivery to Utah. I hope that they shave a few days off that once things get rolling. Using their delivery own map it should be here in the 30th or 31st

 

Received my tracking number, estimated delievery 12/29 Rockwall TX (Dallas), thats OK with me.

I just got the call from Tony at Americas Best that mine is in and ready to be picked up!! They are setting about 30 minutes aside for each pick up so they can go over the locos features with the new owner.
That's if you haven't already watched Mikes video about 10 times while waiting...

That train is EPIC!
