Here's the newest thing to roll from the Northern Central shops--a PRR class ND cabin car. Dimensions taken from the 1912 Car Builders Encyclopedia. Everything but the axles, grabs and couplers is a 3d print. Some bits I'm pleased with, some not so much, but all in all a pretty fair representation.
The underbelly photo shows the coupler mounting. I use truck-mounted Kadee's because of my O-42 curves and didn't want to try a frame mount for this car, even though it might have worked, given the short wheelbase. The whiskers printed into the part bear on a frame member and make it self-centering.
