Is there a way to bookmark specific threads here on OGR? (if not, there should be, IMHO).  I have a couple of windows open to OGR to keep in place two topics that I want to save information from.  I could, I suppose, take screen shots, but that's a pretty inefficient way to save the info - especially for threads that have many comments and ideas.  Doing a search can also be pretty inefficient - especially if all you remember is one or two keywords.  Maybe the bookmark feature is here and I just don't see it...

GRJ's answer is absolutely correct.  However, if keeping track of many different topics and the number of bookmarks should become unwieldy, another way to keep track of them is to click the Like (heart) button.  Any topics or comments you've Liked can be easily found later by going to your own profile page.  Then under your picture, click on the "Reactions" link.  This will show you everything you've "Liked".

Also, if you want to be notified any time new comments are added to a topic, you can choose this too.  To do so, go to the top of the topic's page and click on the blue bell icon to the right of the Topic Title.  When it turns red, this indicates that you will receive an "Alert" whenever there are new posts in this topic.

YES.

Bookmarking pages from ANY web site is a function of your web browser, not the site you are visiting. As Gunrunner John said, you can bookmark any thread here.

Most browsers have a "Bookmarks Toolbar" that will allow you to place bookmarks on a tool bar above the browser screen, like this:

The OGR Site, OGR Forum, Forum Members, etc. are all bookmarks I use often, so I have placed them on what Firefox and Brave call the Bookmarks Toolbar. You can also edit the name of the bookmark when you make it. The name will default to the title of the thread, which can often be very long. You can edit the bookmark display to shorten it if you wish.

Hope this helps!

John, Steve 'n Rich - gentlemen, thanks.  I do know about using browser based bookmarks and my problem with using them is that I have a lifetime supply of bookmarks - all badly sorted or mostly unsorted.  There's a lot of great information and ideas here on OGR - much of which (for me) lands in the "I gotta remember to do that when I get around to it" category.  And like a lot of others, I have many round tuits stacked up so finding that one really relevant discussion (or two) here on OGR when the occasion arises can sometimes be frustrating (no fault of OGR) - e.g. search for 'passenger car LED lighting' gets many threads (many quite good) but trying to find that one thread you remember as being 'the best' isn't always easy.  So I was hoping for some way of flagging or marking discussions here on OGR.

Steve - I really 'like' your suggestion - I'm going to give that a try.  Sounds to me like a fairly straightforward means of marking/flagging threads for later use.
