I just received a brand newer ps3 equipped 263e. I oiled it carefully and set it on the layout for an inaugural run which went beautiful. The engine added to the remote, proper control over smoke speed volume etc. Runs smooth and quiet 🙂
I killed the track power to add some cars and went to get it moving and obviously did something wrong.
The engine starts when told to by the remote and I have whistle bell and OTA control. However the headlight doesn’t come on and the it doesn’t move. I tried a factory reset which appeared to work as I had to re-add the engine. Still no lights or throttle response. I feel I must be doing something wrong.
btw- I have Barry’s book somewhere, can’t find it at the moment. I also searched this forum but didn’t see my exact problem discussed.
