I received this by email today. For those that are using fuses here is another option. These look like a direct replacement. http://www.alliedelec.com/lp/1...paign=150409_product
FYI, breakers can be obtained at much lower prices. Cf Defender.com
That's not a valid web address. I agree, those posted seem pretty expensive!
So can model trains. This was something I have never seen before, A resetable breaker that replaces spade type fuses or glass ones. The company is Allied Electronics. I don't work for them, I have just brought product from them.
GRJ: add www. before the name. You're talking under $6 each.
jmiller, I have bought from them also. Good outfit.

Hello
I use a industry transformer with 18 amp, because the Z 4000 provides only 9 Amp.
Then shut off the thermal fuse of the Z 4000
I drive up to 3 trains at the same time on one track, with sound and smoke to get there quickly to 12 amp.
I no longer use the fuses in the TIU, but a house circuit breaker. These breakers are available in various power levels here in Germany
It took me some time until I found the right one that triggers fast enough.
Now I have no more problems due to poor performance of the Z 4000 and the permanent Replace the fuses every minor derailment.
Very important are many power supplies.
Sorry for my bad english but I had to use a translation program
regards
Hans

GRJ, the "cf" meant "refer to." Try www.defender.com . There are 2 types of Blue Sea puish button breakers, one with screw terminals and one with push-on. The listing is a bit mixed up, but you should find several amp ratings for each style.
You should make that clearer, I had no idea what you were trying to do.
It was crystal clear, so clear that I had no problem understanding it.
i got to say being prat of ogr from member was a smart move you guy have a lot to share thank you all for your input jack k
GRJ, you really WERE a good-looking kid!! But that was back in the 20th century.
Your time is coming.
