I have some derelict MTH bumper trolley cars that I am going to repurpose as double truck, 11-window, double pole cars of the Long Island Traction Company, and for the Huntington Railroad. The trucks and motor will be salvaged from wrecked MTH Brills.

The MTH bumper car has 8 windows, so I will section a car body to get a 3-window segment to splice-in. I am thinking of modifying the roof of the car into a railroad type by rounding down both ends of the existing clerestory roof.Stretched Brill Bumper Car

Interesting plan, it should produce some unique cars; note that there were also some 13-window semiconvertables produced. And personally, I think that the deck roof looks better on a semi.
