I didn't ever set them up with my G, because that was outside, but have been building them since I was a kid. Some nicer ones I sold off, but few mediocre models survived the BB guns and firecrackers; but not too many. No military equipment survived; nice or not, and I shipped my last finished one off to Mike G.; a Humvee. What's left are mostly what crept into a very large VW collection (near 1000); but even that was mostly sold off. The rest is sentimental.
An early split window with W decklid and "Pope's nose" licence light; my fav. rear end of any car.
Details? Like a back seat that I made foldable, flat into a bed like the campers.
It has a mini fridge, (doll suitcase, halved, hinged, and painted the right green) folding table too, but I can't get an angle where the light relection isnt catching in the glass
A suitcase became a grill with steaks. They are stuck to the grill while the bratwurst rolled off of course.( wire ends sticking out of insulation, twisted and painted to look like tied natural case dogs)
Bottom shelf, Riviera, vette, camero, cobra, 911, two lowered bugs, the trailer hauling bug has a Porshe motor shoehorned in place; do-able for real too. Any crazy mods were "done right" based in reality; even castor was increased for lowered ones.
The Mopar was done by a pal, I added the guy. Everyone moves him into working on different parts of the car at random. You never know what he will be up to. Last I checked the front end was on blocks and he was sitting with a tire on his lap ready to push it onto the drum. My guess is the regulator diode pack on the alternator are shot now
This actually sat outside with a load for the train for about 4-5 years. This year, the wood finally started giving way, the wire grill gone, fenders lost, spotlights gone, bed is broken etc.. A local cat used to like standing in it and scratching it's hood and fenders trying to start it.. He was three times it's size so couldnt handle the weight anymore, the both sides of the frame is snaped between cab & bed. It was green, black and silver before being purple, which finally added enough "pop" to be noticed.
