I have a theory. The Railsounds lite cards in many of the conventional classics such as the 2347, have Railsounds lite cards with only horn and bell. Other locos, such as the 38521 GG1 also have the Railsounds lite cards with identical architecture, but feature prime mover sounds which are probably tied to voltage as there is no Hall effect sensor etc. Is it possible that all the RSL cards have these features but they are locked. These cards appear to have connectors which would allow them to be harnessed into a legacy/TMCC loco. What if I pulled one of these cards out, plugged it into a Legacy loco and turned the prime mover on, then put it back?
