I read about the legal history of this engine on railway preservation news. Wut a mess! It appears at one time it was evaluated and to be restored to running condition.
finally looking respectable...they did a great job.Over 300 parts had to be made.

Wow! What a change for the better! I wonder how many more parts there are to install to make it "look" complete outwardly.

Now she needs a shed to keep her that shiny (and safe from vandals.) It's been a shame to watch her rust all these years, and that is one very nice restoration.
