Found the perfect carpet for my 0-27 Porter layout. Looks like dirt. Go out in the woods, throw it on the ground, it disappears! Throw it on my bench, over various small obstacles, twigs, popsicle sticks, with the track screwed down so the Porters bob and weave, a few board chunks to make little hillocks here and there, covered in o scale trees. Looks great!
But I think it would look even better if I could shave the pile and set the tracks down into the carpet. Anything out there that can do this?
