Marty. You forgot the most important part of the order!

Roy Rogers Happy Trails

This has to be played by everyone as they read the last comment posted on Saturday October 21st. Then it can be shut down until next spring...

I've run events that have had substantial revenue.  Two observations:

1. York is filling up most of the available sales/display space.  There's little open/unassigned space.

2. Events are budgeted to produce net income to the sponsoring organization.  Often, it's enough to pay much of the year's running costs.

As long as both are true, York doesn't need to change.

I am 39 with 2 younger kids. I like the current setup since I don't have to miss out on weekend family time. It's relaxing (to me) to take a Thursday or Friday off and just stroll the halls stress free. Once my boys are old enough to walk all day, and if they're interested in attending, Ill just pull them from school a day...no big deal. It helps that I live close.

But honestly, I think most of us will make any days work for York! 😃

Hooray for you!  Using vacation days to attend York!  You earned them, you should enjoy them.  Too many people leave vacation time on the table, and then they reach retirement age and wonder what they're going to do with their time because they don't have any hobbies.
