For the repair guys....If I have a premier ABA form around 2000-2004 era, and with a 5 volt board, and the time comes where the 5 volt goes kaput, What kind of money and how many boards to change to a 3 volt ps-3 system. Sorry cant give a model # as I don't have one, I am thinking of buying an ABA possibly from someone and am just assuming sooner or later I will have to do a change over. Thanks fror any input.

Well, the 3V boards are no longer available, the choice nowadays is the PS32 board with the 5V connectors. As long as the harnesses will reach, it's a fairly simple change. The speaker has to be swapped as well, the PS32 requires a 4 ohm speaker. The PS32 board has a slightly different form-factor than the old 5V board, so in a few cases, mounting it could be an issue. However, in most cases, that's not a big issue.
Thank you GRJ for the reply. I am thinking of either an premier E-8 or E-6. Any issues with room in one of those long bodies? Cost with labor (roughly) 200? 300? 500? 800? Have not had an upgrade done in years. Not up on board and labor prices

Is that a "repair" board? If so, do you have the part number? I have a couple of blown 5V units I'd like to get back on-line.
Matt, I believe the only folks that can purchase the PS32 boards are MTH techs......they have to pre-program the boards for a specific application...ie; download the sound files........Pat
Pat is correct, if you need these, contact me and I'll fix you up.
Pat don't forget if you change to the ps 32 boards you still have to change the speakers to 4 ohm and not plug in the old 8.4 volt charging cable since the newer boards use a Super cap so battery is not needed!
