Me and my boys were super excited to get back inside the Chicagoland Lionel Railroad Club after a long COVID closure. It was a packed house and the club members have not lost their magic touch for excellent hospitality!!!
There have been some impressive improvements to the layout. Our favorite is the huge mountain right inside the entrance with its snow shed and fun details including the fire tower and observatory.

What's the time for those open houses?
The times are 9am to 3pm.

Definitely worth your time! The El and Union Station section is fantastic.
