I jst have a new 2400 obs. But the only problem is the frame has one silver kind of rust. It has not rusted through. Other than Clean Greeen, what would be good to stop the silver rust? thanks.

If the "rust" is colored silver, then it is not rust. Please post a picture. BTW, do NOT try to clean it before you figure out what it really is. You can do more harm than good.

I have to get my film camera out. But when I rubbed to "silver", there was red dust under it.
Sounds like moisture got under the paint and formed rust.
The silver is your paint blistered up and the red dust is rust.
Hopefully it is confined to a really small area, so you won't have to repaint it.
I don't thinl I have to repaint. The film is at the drug store. Should get pics to this thread soon. You cannot see the frame with the plastic body.
