I have a number of the TTOS Shorty Mine cars and the loco. Today I got the crane from 1990, this is made by CMT, where the rest of my cars were by Rich Art.
Have more cars now than the little engine will pull.

I wondered about that. I had a couple chances to pick one of these up, and passed on it, my reasoning being that it's an orphan CMT car and the Richart set is complete without it. But in the back of my mind i did wonder if it might be asking too much of the little Richart mining loco. Of course, you could always upgrade that train to a McCoy Little Chief or something!
It is a nice looking crane car though. I believe the crane itself is diecast and is stamped Arcade on it somewhere, which makes it a collectors' item in its own right. Also in beautiful shape Steve, not a scratch on it.

Yes, it does have Arcade stamped on the crane part, but it was cast from an original, so no real collectors value on the crane itself. As for the car, they are neat and show up every once in a while. The frame stands a little taller than the Richart mine cars.
