Wonderful build on the cabooses Malcom, great job and keep it going! ncng
Nick,
I did not notice the differences that you pointed out.
Malcolm will make all necessary corrections to your caboose and you will enjoy and appreciate Malcolm's Master Work.
Enjoy.
In order for my large three rail version draw-bar arms to swivel properly, the bottom edges of the end sills are horizontally level across, so that said larger three rail couplers', draw-bar arms can clearly swivel, from side, to side, without any impedance from the end sills' bottom edges.
AS, we used to say, on the Lower East Side of New York City, N.Y.;
"It woiks poifectly!!!"

And Malcolm has come through yet again. Atlas 3R leaf spring caboose trucks installed. He even unpacked it and added one final detail I had forgotten about, the yellow safety paint on the bottom most platform steps. I'll post pictures of that when it arrives. Here are the last ones Malcolm took before packing. Can't wait!!
Nick that's neat!
Just seeing a photo of Malcolm's creation is worth admiration, alone, but wait until you get the actual beauty.
To actually have one of Malcolm's custom built, crafted, creations is the ultimate prize, to posses!
ENJOY!
Ralph
Ralph, I am humbled by your praise. Many thanks, Malcolm
Wow!!! the pacemaker caboose is great.
Malcolm, you are more than welcome.
You take on many challenges and you complete each mission above and beyond.
Stay Well,
Ralph
Very nice! Model making still lives in O scale!
As the proud new owner of the exquisitely handcrafted 3RS Pacemaker caboose shown in this photo I can't say enough good things about the ample skills and sharp eye for detail that Brother Love applies to these projects, quite enough to satisfy even an unreconstructed rivet counter like me.
While I've been eyeing Malcolm's creations for some time now, it took the research done by PC9850 (Nick) in identifying the original color scheme on 20112 to pry open my wallet, so my thanks go to him, too.
I buy fewer and fewer model railroad items these days, but I'm really glad I got this piece. Based on the body of work evident on these Forums, it would seem Malcolm can make anything in styrene, so if you're looking for that special if unusual car contact him. He's definitely got the talent.

Amazing work Malcolm!
Love the finished version B&LE
Mike and Dave,
Enjoy your beautiful Malcolm crafted, created, custom built cabooses, which are 'Real-Deal' cabooses, only shrunk down to 1:48 scale sizes!!!!

Hmm, makes me wonder if I should work out a research commission on each sale
Seriously though it was my pleasure. I too had been eyeing Malcolm's work for a long time and kept hesitating with the knowledge that it was a big commitment and needed to be absolutely perfect. However once I was confident in every aspect of the caboose's original delivery scheme for the publicity train I too pulled the trigger and boy was it worth every penny.
Mine should be here in a few days. Waiting with great anticipation to see how it matches up with the string of boxcars it'll be following:
Nick,
I have Atlas 'O' Master Line Series NYC Pacemaker box cars and the caboose Malcolm created for me with both the 'Vermilion' and 'Dark Gray' match exactly to the Atlas 'O' box cars.
The only Pacemaker color paint scheme which does not match is Lionel's version of a PS-1 box car, but I read on another forum that The PS-1 box cars had a changed color paint scheme and therefore Lionel's version might be correct, as the prototypes, by being a lighter hue in each of the two colors!
Enjoy your caboose and box car Pacemaker train.
You'll be amazed of Malcolm's 'Craftmanship!'
Ralph
