I do not have any experience with the set in question, but I did dabble in Bachmann On30 for a few years, and I did own one of the 2-6-0 locomotives. It was a very nice runner, very nicely detailed, but as Rusty said, very delicate to handle. I wouldn't want children handling it, nor old guys with arthritis like me. lol
I owned a Bachmann 2-6-0, Shay, and Climax. The Climax was the only one with sound. It sounded great to me. I was impressed with the detail and running of all three.
i don't know what cars are in the set, but I found all Bachmann's rolling stock I owned be very nicely detailed and tracked well.
All in all, when I decided to sell my On30 and concentrate only in 3 rail, I was not ashamed to ask for a "like new" price. I had no trouble selling any of it, if that says anything.
