Converting Lionel 3 rail to 2 rail HELP

Hey guys, has anyone here ever tried to, or have, converted a Lionel 86' high cube to 2 rail? If so, what kind and where did you get the scale wheels? Also, did you use the original Lionel 3 rail trucks that came with the car? IMO Lionel does not make it easy to convert any of their stuff.

They make great 2-Railed cars but they shrink your railroad really fast due to their length .
