In my experience with Lenz you have three issues.
!.- Product, is it reality or a vapor idea? The slip switch and curved turnouts have been listed since at least 2008.
2.- When will it be available or back in stock as a production item? (I was told they make a product run after orders get to a certain point worthy of running a job lot.) Took me about 5 months to get the last order of two slip switches. I ordered from a Canadian and a US dealer.
3.- Who will be a credible merchant to get it? It seems as though the dealers are given soft data as to when to expect product?
Dealers I spoke with say that Lenz seems to treat USA like a step child. Euro Hobbies gave me the least amount of aggravation.
The Lenz product is good but I do not look forward to going through that purchasing and waiting experience again. I am concerned about the throwbars, they seem a tad light duty. Not that the Atlas throw bars are any benchmark for durability.
I can only speak to my experience. Good product, competitive pricing, inaccurate availability information.
Very tight curved turnouts, not likely suitable for large class 1-A US equipment.
It was in struggling with the Lenz delivery model that I found the Brad Strong's Signature Switch product line. Typically two weeks for Brad to delivery.
