Are they wood? did you use a milling machine? A conventual mill or a CNC mill?

Dennis, Yeah it's solid white maple. I use a 3 axis CNC milling machine! I wouldn't be able to make those shapes with a conventional machine. Lots of arcs and 3D machining. I need to take some better pictures in the next few days but this video shows it pretty well.

Thanks! One of these days I've gotta send one of these off to be decorated and weathered by someone who really knows what they're doing... but my plain paint job will do for now.

Looks like about 144" diameter curves for that puppy!

You'd assume by looking at it that was the case but it's actually good for 0-45! I was careful about that when I designed it. (we have a ton of atlas 0-45 track and switches from back in the day.) The overhang is absolutely absurd though! haha

Yeah you got that right! haha I've never once had a derailment though. Got probably 15hrs of run time on my original prototype. That being said now a days my main loop is 0-72 and up
