Daily Notch6 Podcast from LCCA Convention in Indy
Lionel Collectors Club of America (LCCA) member Derek Thomas hosted a daily podcast from the Lionel Collectors Club of America's 44th Annual Convention held July 20-26 at the Marriott East Hotel in Indianapolis IN. Every evening, starting on Sunday July 20, Derek hosted a podcast at www.notch6.com with a convention recap of the day's events and informative and entertaining interviews with key people in the hobby. Sunday night, people had an opportunity to hear from LCCA Director, premier layout builder and Traingineer Roger Farkash of TW TrainWorx in Dallas TX. Monday night, OGR’s Ed Boyle spoke about Lionel’s MPC era Royal Limited set. Steve Nelson of Mr. Muffins Train Store in Carmel IN is the featured guest during the Tuesday episode. Derek interviewed members of Lionel's team such as Mike Phillips, Mike Reagan, J. Don Reece, and new Lionel President Howard Hitchcock. There are plenty of surprises and new announcements, including the introduction of the New LCCA Boston and Maine Set by LCCA President Dennis DeVito.
