Dismantle or Sell my Layout?

Hello All,

My family will be moving from a single family home to a townhouse, and I will not have room for my existing layout. It is a 4X8, hi-rail, highly detailed layout. I would hate to have to dismantle the entire layout and would like to see it move onto a new home. I have countless hours in scratch-building small details and such to try to take away from the small size. I know you cannot put a price on building time, but I would be interested in hearing some opinions in what to do here. I will not be selling the trains themselves, just the layout and it contents. I can upload some pics tomorrow.

I must say that I am a bit shocked that there is no room for even a 4x8 layout. There are all sorts of creative ways to get it "out of the way" when not in use. Maybe there is a way you can keep the layout after all.

A popular way to have a layout is to have it in the garage, suspended from the ceiling on a pulley system. Can you do that?
