Some of you have shown photos of your Disney World monorail trains. I'd like to know to what scale they are made. This one, in particular.

Ok...... I’m gonna guess it isn’t really scalar. But closest to HO. Think about the size of a 40’ O scale boxcar and anything HO. Way to small for O Kinda large for HO.
Hi Dan,
A quick Google search told me the Disney cars are about 10.5 feet tall. You should be able to figure the scale from that. It also gave the total length of the train as 203 feet but I suspect, as in the case of a lot of non-scale O gauge cars, the length will be somewhat compressed so the height might be your only clue. We love Disney!

there are three nice Disney Monorail car types; 2 operate and the O scale model one doesn't.
So for operating its either the Disney ones or Schucos. The Schucos are like HO but because of the detail i prefer them over the Disney. The Disneys are battery operated while the Schucos get power from the rails. There are several Phase versions of Disneys with seven color schemes. Schucos have two types in several colors one with tail lights and ones without.
If you have it AlanHN, please post info or link to info about the 0 scale one. While it is nonoperating perhaps someone knows of a retro kit available for it or could figure out otherwise how make it operable.
the scale ones were done for commemorative purposes in red and blue, unfortunately the cars are fixed together. I'll post a photo.
