Would like to see American railroad police departments employing drones to identify, arrest and prosecute taggers.
Yeah right, the railroads gonna spend a bunch of money to catch idiots painting train cars. Bigger fish to fry like turning a profit. How do you watch all those train cars all the time?
Call me cynical, but I see flimsy little drones delivering packages as ripe targets for the more unscrupulous among us.....
Actually, I read 1-2 years ago (?) that some railroad police are already using drones -- and I thought it was for vandalism. A quick web search may turn up something.
Regarding the original post, if it works, intermodal modeling just got a whole lot more interesting/harder :-}
