Greetings, fellow O Gauge Railroading members! Last night, my dad came back with a box of acetone and a box of paint remover from GFS (I think). So, using my breathing mask, a pair of gloves, a screwdriver with interchangeable screw tips, and the acetone, I unscrewed both my Rio Grande Berkshire and Marx NYC caboose shells (with Lionel trucks) off their wheels and used the acetone to wash their Rio Grande and New York Central lettering off. As much as I'm bummed to remove their original lettering, I am happy that my project is going along at a slow but steady pace. Now, to take them and (some other items) to the P&D Hobby Store for further instructions. (Yes, I know the COVID-19 lockdown has been extended to the 28th. But, my dad and I aren't letting that stop us!)
