I'm planning to head over to DuPage Sunday morning but due to other commitments I need to be out of there early.  I know it's possible to gain early admission but I've never actually done it.  Could one of the cognoscenti let me know what the hours are for   pre-admission?   My understanding is one just drives through and pays admission at the fairground's eastern gates?

the extra money you pay to get in early is worth it to get the "good buys" that happen before the show opens to  thepublic. example- today at medina,oh a z-4000 ,no box, early issue, was put out at 8;30 ,priced at $150, i went back the 2nd time at 8;40 to get it, fellow dealer was walking away with it. this had to be the deal of the show.most of the best deals are made between the sellers before the doors open  to the buying public.-jim

I have always tried to get to the Dupage show by 7-7:30. You do get better items to choose from. The vendors don't care who they sell to, just "turn the merchandise." Most shows you will see local dealers roaming the aisles looking for bargains for their stores. Some dealers are ready to sell by 6:15-6:30. The early bird truly gets the best worm.
