After you hit the E-stop button, how do you repower the system? I checked Barry's book, but didn't find anything. I've been reluctant to use that feature until I know what the reset procedure is. I'm sure Barry can lead me to the answer and I appreciate all his help.

Power off and back on.
For both the remote and the TIU
Do you mean turn the power off to the TIU's and the remotes and then turn everything back on?

Yes including the aux power supply if using one.
Yes turn off all power and the remote, than turn everything back on.
I've gotten to use the e stop feature quite a bit so maybe I can help. Once pressed, the screen will prompt the user to power off and then power back on the tiu and remote.
Use of that button is the 5TH thing to teach grandchildren, after DIR, THUMBWHEEL, WHS, & BELL.
Prefer to use an alternate E-Stop method.
1. Use 4 E-stop buttons mounted around the layout.
2. Use a remote control (wireless) system. Uses a button on a keyfob.
Both of these methods can be used to remove power to the TIU channel inputs. The E-stop on the MTH remote control is not used with this scheme.
Note: This very same equipment also contains a dual channel resettable circuit breaker.
Attached photos show the equipment used on my layout.
