Picture is 'supposedly' of a 2026. The author wants to know how to remove this pin?

I looked at my 2026 and it has a screw in that location. confused Any Ideas ?

In my lionel documentation on the 2026 it is supposed to be a pressed in pin. 1666e-84 You would have to take the shell off and punch it back out from inside the shell. If there is a bolt in one, it probably was a fix later.
