Electro Coupler Replacements

Here is the link to the parts list for this engine.  You need part #9 which Lionel has in stock.  This is based on your engine being part 6-28328.

My only other thing is what is the part number for the screw which holds the coupler to the truck? I can't seem to find it on the list.

I'm not sure what the number is, but the coupler is usually connected to the truck via a pin with a spring/washer/ and c-clip.  I'm not sure if that is what there is on this engine.

Are you sure that is the part. The OP said electro coupler and the link seems to point to a magnetic coupler.

If you remove yours and take a pic along with how long it is overall we can narrow it down better.

You need to go to Lionel's website yourself, go to "Replacement Parts" dropdown, find the loco and look at the parts.

Per Lionel's web page, there is only one UP Engine 7055 and it has ElectroCouplers per the product page.  Link

My first link calls the coupler a "coil" coupler meaning it is an ElectroCoupler, not a magnetic coupler which requires an uncoupling track.

The truck that they are showing on their parts page is for the magnetic coupler. But the electro coupler comes seperate. So I would suspect that I would have to get that same punch pin and use it to install the electro coupler?

Here are a couple of photos showing the rear truck (the broken one was on the front). As you can see, there is a screw and washer that holds the coupler on.

 Beside the  Screw you will also need a centering spring.
