engine vs feature reset | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

I had a breaker snap due to an electrical problem. My engines now have sound volume issues and on one engine the ditch lights are on all the time. Would it be better to do an engine reset or feature reset? Should the engine being reset be the only one powered up on the track?

Don,

Just do an engine Feature Reset. In the unlikely case where that doesn’t correct the issues, then do a Factory Reset.

Note that a Factory Reset will also delete the engine and erase its Custom Name, if you gave it one.
