It has been noted on the Forum earlier that a PTC ( Resettable Fuse) should be used on a ERR Cruise Lite installation)
If anyone can assist me - I would like to know if each motor lead and the center rail (hot) wires should have a PTC installed one each one of these wired connections before the ERR Cruise Lite board cnnection.
Any assistance is appreciated.

The Cruise lite was designd for a single small motor, typically a Mabuchi RS385 or smaller. For these you don't need a fuse. Only if you are trying to use it with a large Pittman or two Mabuchi motors should you need a fuse.

My understanding is that the PTC goes in series with one motor lead - either one.

I put a single PTC in series with either lead. I use them whenever the stall current of the motor is anything approaching 2 amps or more to protect the motor drivers on the CC-Lite. The ones I use have a trip rating of around 1.5A, they'll actually go over that quite a bit for short times, so the incidents of false tripping are very rare.
