ERTL 37013 John Deere 310E 1:50 scale loader/backhoe

This is a modern diecast metal loader that makes a nice flatcar 'load" or trackside construction vehicle for use on an O scale layout. The bucket and backhoe are movable as shown.

This diecast 1:50 scale model was made by the Ertl RC2 Brands, Dyersville, IA. (2007)

I have about a dozen pieces of construction equipment on my O scale layout. Some of them are very detailed scale pieces, usually made for the manufacturer of the real thing. I only wish they could use a rivet that is a flat black or similar. The "silver" color stands out too much and detracts from the prototypical scale. They do so well with the rest of the model.
