The lower photo is an EMD builder photo from 1952. Too bad the Golden Gate Railroad Museum doesn't give proper credit for an official Electro-Motive Division of General Motors Corporation photograph.

It's hard to see, if you look close the EMD delivery photos show the SP Herald on the nose of unit 6378.
Could it be? The tired Bloody Nose is the same unit depicted in the EMD delivery photo?
