I just posted pics of the project I am working on now. I am adding girder bridges to the Lionel die cast bridge. I have not worked with fast track before. My question is how much pressure do you have to apply to get the track to go together. I can't seem to get the girder bridge to snap into the bridge abutment. I push and it pops out. All help appreciated....Paul

Are you talking about the 6-82110 extended truss bridge? Those are a monkey to get track hooked to and or removed from the pier! I have one. Good thing is .. It doesn't come loose! And I think there were two small filler blocks that had to be removed to mount the girder bridge. Using memory only I cant recall if that is the case mounting them girder up or girder down.

Jim, I am not sure on the number I am not in the basement. It is the one where you can change the girders on the sides. And so far I have just been able to snap one side in but when I try to do the other side I first one pops out. I just wish I knew how much pressure I have to put on it to snap it together but at the same time I do not want to break anything............Paul
When I put mine together. I had to have my wife hold one end on the bridge so I could use two hands to push the track onto the pier. Since then I have had it apart a few times moving it around to find I the "right" place, and it has gotten much easier to attach the track and take it back off.
