Just downloaded the latest High Rail App update.  What's cool about this update is the "Favorites" addition.  I can now group the engines I am currently running on the layout from the main database list into a favorites subset for easy access.  Now if I am running 5 engines on the layout, those 5 engines go into my favorites list and they are easily accessible.  This is something I always wanted the 5 buttons under the CAB2 screen to be able to do as an alternate setup to what's normally there but now with the High Rail app it makes it easy to access them!  So far I haven't found that the favorites is limited to the number of engines but I found 5 fills the screen without having to swipe up or down so 5 it is for me.

We demo'd the High Rail app now for 3 LUG meetings.  In each incarnation, the app has expanded.  The favorites list was always something I wanted as I said above in the Cab2.  It wasn't horrible scrolling and remembering the 5 engines running on my layout but it was a little cumbersome.  Now they are all in a nice little easy accessible "favorites" list!  Nice update!  Very well done!  I also just got a new iPhone 6s as my iPhone 5 wanted to go swimming and did.

Add to favorites, favorites list, remove from favorites list... Careful, the delete button removes the engine from the app.

When running an engine from the main database list, the empty star indicates it's not in the favorites list.  Tapping the star will add it to the favorites list as well.  The full star indicates the engine is part of the favorites list.  Tapping it removes it.

In the main database view the Star indicates that engine is part of the "Favorites" list!

Are you sure you didn't give it a little help?

I wish.  Nope stupid me walked right into the pool with it in my pocket.  Needless to say no more phones beyond the steps to the pool deck.

The iPhone 6s allows me to use the 3D touch to increase how fast the actual speed gets to the target speed.  Especially with high momentum, if you're needing to speed up the process, push on the High Rail app's "dial", it's like hitting the boost or brake on the CAB2 depending on whether increasing or decreasing speed.

Yeah so maybe it was on purpose.  LOL!
