Fenway Park in O Scale?

Isn't there also an expressway or other highway very near the stadium?  That would be a nice modeling touch.  Think of all the wonderful O Gauge cars that could be used.

That's gorgeous!!!  I'll bet even Frank Sinatra would have loved those models on his beautiful layout, or, in his well-appointed train room.

I agree that's the real one. When Yankee Stadium opened in 1923, dead center was 490 feet from home plate! When I was obsessed with the Yankees in the late 1950s and early 1960s, dead center was 461 feet, as shown in the ballpark on my layout. That deep center field enabled one of the most exciting plays to happen: the inside the park homerun. Mantle in his prime was good for a couple of them per year.
