Health issues and other priorities have kept me from making much progress on my train room.  I finally got all my trains into the train room and organized on shelves and under the train table.

The first 3 pictures are taken standing on a step stool showing the shelving and the 2-level Mianne benchwork (G gauge on the upper level and O gauge on the lower level).

The next pictures show the trains on the shelving.

Now, all I have to do is:
1. Get all the accessories stored under the train table
2. Finish laying G gauge track
3. Lay O gauge track
4. Wire G and O gauge track
5. Run trains

After that I'll worry about scenery, accessories, sound suppression, etc.  I just want to run my trains....it's been close to 5 years since I had a small layout.  My last large layout was over 20 years ago.

Now that all my trains are in one room, I am identifying stuff that I will want to part with.  So, I'll be posting a fair amount of stuff for sale over the next couple of weeks.

I'm a good bit like that myself.  I've now reached the point where I have most all of my Alaska RR, Southern Railway, and O gauge tinplate motive power in display cases where I can easily get to them, and that gave me quite a feeling of accomplishment.  I still have a long way to go with other train stuff, but have been making steady progress.
