A Michigan short line, the LSRC, painted a locomotive to honor Ronald Reagan. Number 3571 proudly bears the legend "For the Gipper, 2004"; she is a Montreal Locomotive Works M420W. I would like to paint a three rail diesel to extend the honor to my small railroad. I did a little research on-line and found that HO modelers wanting an M420W have used a U23B frame and a shell built by Kaslo.  I would appreciate any suggestions re a frame and shell that I could use to "approximate" an M420W (I am not a rivet counter but would like to capture the look of the engine). As an example, looking at the hood of 3571, to me she looks a lot like an SD70 (albeit much smaller). Thanks for any ideas

"I've got to go, Rock. It's all right. I'm not afraid. Some time, Rock, when the team is up against it, when things are wrong and the breaks are beating the boys, ask them to go in there with all they've got and win just one for the Gipper. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock. But I'll know about it, and I'll be happy."
