I live in central Delaware an Norfolk Southern runs right through town on a daily basis. Today two locos came through town pulling freight. Never seen these before weren't the usual NS engines. Does anyone know what line they are and type of diesels? Took a few photos. Thanks

Those belong to a company called "Carload Express". They operate a number of shortline railroads. NS has just turned over the operation of a bunch of their Delmarva trackage to Carload Express. you are viewing the new shortline operation that started a few days ago.
The SWP, stands for "Southwest Pennsylvania Railroad", another Carload Express line.

Yes, that is it. I have never seen them come through Clayton, DE before. Never heard of this line before. Any idea if this is going to be a common site in my area? Thanks for the info.
Yes, Carload Express has taken over operation of those Delmarva lines. Long term lease I believe.
