Here's the engine that never was. I'm not sure Baldwin sold much of anything to the big western roads. These Sharks do look great wearing the "Daylight" scheme - too bad it never happened.

I have a Williams set in Daylight Paint.  I always wanted a set of Sharks and when I came across the SP set at Trainworld for a very reasonable price I couldn't resist.  It didn't fit in with what I was planning at all but "Oh well!"  Pick up some aluminum Williams passenger cars and one or two Lionel streamlined cars to go with it.  Since I always hoped to run multiple trains at once I now needed another SP train.  Trainland helped with that too.  A Williams SP heritage SD90, matching caboose by MTH and a boxcar and I had the makings of a handsome freight train to go with the Varnish.

Well hello F.E.F fans.  Rusty, UKE, Dave Ripp great 1:1 pictures.   Dave I am somewhat "diesel ignorant" and don't know what type engine those BNSF diesels are (like 8001 and 9161) but we see them quite a bit around here in central Texas as well.  jjwyatt - that livery on the "City of Miami" is really great, is that a custom job done for you or was that a commercial product?  RSJB18 - cool NYC sharks!

Today I am going to follow Sitka with some PRR power and rolling stock.  Here from the earliest days of Lionel MPC (1972) is the #8203 Columbia type loco and the "sound of steam" tender with "Pennsylvania" lettering in white.  Lionel made quite a number of 2-4-2 and 4-4-2 locos with the same basic boiler casting and this type pretty much carried the line through the earliest days.  The boiler is plastic but it carries a cool red stripe!  She has the "electronic sound of steam" and smoke.

Here is our "Front End Friday" picture.

Here you can see a bit of her train and the 1130T type coal tender.  Note she was also offered with the 1130T type oil tender.

Here she is with her PRR train.  She is hauling the 2454 PRR " Baby Ruth" box car from 1946-47 and the 2457 PRR caboose from 1945-47.  She has no real trouble pulling these heavier post war freight cars, in fact she pulls quite well considering her age...(50+).

Best wishes for a great weekend to all

Don, the City of Miami is a MTH 20-2736E.   This was sold as a set with 5 cars and then there was a separate B and A unit and additional 2 car set.    Far as I know this is the only production of this line made with respect to O gauge but I may be mistaken.   I attached the only picture I have of the matching passenger cars.

Hi guys, HFF! I hope your all doing well!

@Dave Ripp. Nice place to take a walk! I love the lead engine! I am pretty sure I have the same engine and number on my layout!

@Capetrainman Paul, wonderful shot! I remember seeing them quite often going through Montana! Love the color!

Well here is all I have to offer, Amtrak F40PH pulling into the station for the first run of the day!

I guess Grzyboski’s must have been hiding them from you.  It's the only explanation.

Not very nice of them!!!

I missed the K4 when it first came out, but after York, @Cmontagna posted a video of a K4 set he picked up from Joe at York. Of course, that meant I just HAD to check out Grzyboski’s website and low and behold, Joe had another engine (slightly used). I couldn’t resist. Another bad influence has been identified
