My Grandparents' house was beside the Pittsburgh-Buffalo line (previously BR&P) and I watched a lot of Covered Wagons there working the Southbound grade up from the Allegheny River. Most freights had a pair of F7 As pushing the crummy hard. I can still hear the bellow of those 567s in notch 8.

And I just noticed this on the Train Room wall:

So #241 was the lead unit Eastbound in the morning. Here we are in the afternoon Westbound down the the long grade towards Pittsburgh with #241 trailing. SOP for B&O excursions was an open gondola.
